It is vitally important to understand that behavior is a window into the brain. The brain starts developing in the womb. Giving the brain and the complete nervous system a balanced, connected, and optimal function in the early years of life is an imperative part of achieving optimal growth and development. At GFC, your child will have a complete neurological exam that they, likely, have never had before.

Thompson Technique is a full spine technique focused on addressing areas of segmental dysfunction in the spine. Segmental dysfunction is addressed by correcting subluxation in the spine. Subluxation is when the normal bio-mechanical relationship between two or more vertebra is altered thus creating interference and segmental dysfunction. Interference at one segmental level then has total body affects via its nerve system, the brain and spinal cord, and the muscular, organs, tissues and cells that the nervous system connects too.

Pregnancy is a stressful time for the body; the body needs to grow, adapt, and handle the growth of the fetus to bring new life into the world. The nervous system controls every action and reaction much like a cause and effect system. Pelvic imbalance can contribute to delivery challenges or dystocia and baby's nervous system imbalance post-delivery. A fully functioning nervous system is vital to having an optimal pregnancy and delivery.
